Women with Impact
Increase the number of women in influential positions who make an impact through strength and artistry.
Art for Women with Impact is a movement initiated by Carmen Breeveld (European Black Businesswoman of the Year 2003 and CEO of Topvrouwen Academy) and Tarana Labuche, founder of Labuche Fine Art.
About the Women with Impact Program
Women with Impact is an initiative by Carmen Breeveld in collaboration with Tarana Labuche. The goal is to highlight female role models, allowing them to serve as examples for other women (both younger and older), who can be inspired and empowered by them. In this way, they contribute to the empowerment of women. We envision role models from various sectors, including art, business, government, and sports.
Art for Women with Impact Movement
The movement’s objective is straightforward: increase the representation of women in influential positions who make an impact through the power of art. In this project, Labuche Fine Art will portray 20 powerful women, emphasizing essential qualities such as strength, wisdom, and love, to address global challenges we face today.
International Women’s Day
The canvas will be unveiled on March 8, 2022, International Women’s Day, and will be exhibited in various national museums and galleries. After a year, the artwork will be auctioned, with proceeds donated to the empowerment and coaching of female refugees in the Netherlands. Additionally, a book will be published, shedding light on the personal stories of each woman involved in the project.
